The Original Bunjie, a 2010 Excalibur Axiom, is the inspiration for Death by Bunjie. This older, slower crossbow, also known as the “O.B.,” the Bunjinator, Grandpa Bunjie, or “the Ford 8N of Crossbows,” served Rich well for 12 seasons and is now (semi) retired.

Bunjie, Jr. is an Excalibur Micro Suppressor 355. A newer version of the same recurve-style crossbow, Bunjie, Jr. is on its second set of limbs. For that reason, this crossbow is affectionately known as “Lefty.” Genevieve is off to a great start as a Second Generation Crossbow Hunter, killing her first deer last year and a nice 8-point this year!

Bunjie III is the latest addition to the Death by Bunjie Family: a Scorpyd Deathstalker 420. Also known as Bunjie 3.0, Bunjie ‘21, the Deathstalker by Bunjie, the “Slick Black Cadillac of Crossbows,” or just “the Skerpyd,” this more modern crossbow is off to a great start on the 2021 season with (hopefully) many great adventures to come!
