Goodbye, Kingdom of Bunjie.

It’s been in the works for a long time, but the Kingdom of Bunjie is no more. My family farm has been sold.

But that doesn’t really mean the Kingdom of Bunjie is “gone,” does it? Of course not. For several years, Bunjie’s motto has been “Venimus, vidimus, vicimus,” which is Latin for “We came, we saw, we conquered.” That’s right—for years, Bunjie and I have been working on expanding the Kingdom of Bunjie. The Kingdom is getting bigger, not smaller. We’ve conquered Maryland and Maine and even Canada!

We came, we saw, and we conquered. Now it’s time to move on.

I toyed with the idea of taking on the old homestead as a family project, working on it week after week and documenting my progress. But that’s not what Death by Bunjie is “about” these days. Today, I make videos about crossbows and crossbow hunting, not habitat management and house restoration. I will always love foodplottery, but we have limited time and resources, and we can’t do it all. Sometimes we have to choose.

Bunjie and I are excited about the future. We hope you’ll join us.
